Software Engineering Intern, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan - Subaru Telescope

Intern for the Instruments Division

  • Developed an integrated status monitor for the telescope's Hyper-Suprime Cam instrument system to monitor parameters such as the shutter position, filter exchange unit, and data read-out during observation.
  • Collaborated with a team of astronomers and instrument research specialist to design the implementation and graphical user interface of the software.
